Upcoming Abide Event - San Jose - Dec. 20th - Young Adults!!

Hi everyone, our Abide Young Adult Event is just one week away. I have 9 sign ups, but I know more of you might want to join! Please make sure to sign up this week so I can plan for food, as soon as possible. P.S. Most of the group has not done much climbing, it is going to be easy climbs and will be fun even if you have never climbed before! (link in the comments)
Hi everyone, check the side bar for this upcoming event! Come hang out with other young adults for a fun day of climbing and fellowship at The Boulder Field in Sacramento! Bouldering is rock climbing on shorter walls without ropes, so you get to pick your own difficulty level—whether you’re a beginner or experienced climber. We’ll meet at the gym at 10 AM on November 22nd, kick things off with some group climbing games, then spend time climbing, eating, reading the Bible and fellowshipping together.

Hi @everyone,
be sure and sign up for our upcoming event if you want to join us!
Hi everyone, my name is Tara! I am the new ACE for the "California Delta" area. I will begin planning events soon. I will probably be messaging you guys and reaching out to see what kind of interest we have. Please take a moment to introduce yourself in the comments on this post and let me know: 1. Your name 2. What church you attend or what city you are in. 3. Do any of the events below interest you It would be nice to see where you guys are coming from and what areas would be best to host events in.

Some events I am thinking of right now include: (some would be summer only events) - Indoor rock climbing (Maybe doing this in Sacramento this November) - Hiking - River rafting - Canyoneering (which is hiking along and in a river canyon) - Camping (volleyball and board games) - Maybe a combination: camping and rafting - Maybe something…
My name is Edward! I currently live in Vacaville, CA (approximately 30min from Sacramento). I previously served 7-years in the U.S. Marine Corps and 3-years in the U.S. Army, and now continue to serve as a civilian federal employee at the Department of Defense.
For fun, I love to hike and camp, and love everything having to do with the water (especially white water rafting), I shoot and often teach firearm instruction to new shooters, and I volunteer often at my church. I also love theater and performance art and have a passion for serving Veterans who struggle with mental health.
I currently attend The Father’s House in Vacaville, but often visit Bayside and Genesis in Roseville as I’m in that area often. In this season I’ve been eager to meet some like-minded and like-aged friends so I’m hoping to meet some of you soon.
