One of yesterday's sermons was on the apostle Paul and how he chose to boast in his infirmities and the thorn in his flesh. As believers it is so hard to grasp our thorns in the flesh and embrace our trials and struggles. One of the greatest temptations is the desire to live without them, but we owe so much to these thorns. They grow us in ways that otherwise would never be possible and give us great hope for the future as the Lord is preparing us for heaven! We serve a great God who has our best interests at heart. The things of Paradise are indescribable and yet they are reserved for us! So choose the "Refiner's fire", it does bring lasting joy and peace.
