Rome and Mary

Did any of you see the new doctrine from the Roman Catholic Church on Mary’s titles and role in salvation released this week? Pleased to see that they have officially rejected calling her a “co-mediator” with Christ and deny her having a role in salvation apart from intercession… still, the fact that they even had to clarify this is strong evidence that there has been an increase in the genuine idolatry of Mary, no doubt a result of the previous Marian dogmas— and that the average church attendee may be influenced by these false ideas. Let us pray that this will impact the salvation of many in a positive way, and hopefully the eyes of many will be further opened to the errors of Rome

It is encouraging. I wonder if it's more just having a new pope than the Church's actions overall. But we shall see. I pray it's a sign they're slowly going to come back to the church they walked away from all those centuries ago.
