Bible Reading & Theology

Alright, we are about halfway through the year and our Bible reading plan. Crazy! What's something you guys are seeing as you are reading the Scripture at such a rapid pace? Any repeated themes? P.S. If you haven't kept up with the reading, you can still pick up with today and enjoy moving forward in God's Word. 😁

In today’s reading in Elijah I picked up that God always provides that which will sustain us. The ravens feeding him by the river, the jars of flour and oil that did not empty at the widow, even revival to the son whose time to pass was not yet come. And when Elijah chose Elisha, Elisha served his oxen to his family as a farewell. I wonder who took care of the land after him but Elisha’s decisive action to follow God serves as a reminder of strong faith that God will provide when we choose to follow him.
