The Favorite Son

Do you think Joseph was proud and bragging when he told his family his dreams, or was he simply relaying the message?

He explained the dreams and it was his brothers and parents that interpreted it in a negative way. Joseph himself didn’t express any desire for superiority necessarily. His brothers already hated him. We could make an educated guess that he was prideful because his father loved him the most and his tone may have been unkind in his sharing of the dreams which is perhaps why God fulfilled his purpose through great trial (having Joseph sold into slavery and thrown in prison for many years to humble him perhaps?) but it’s not explicitly stated, is it?
