For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
Isaiah 57:15 NKJV
“And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
II Corinthians 6:16-18
It is so humbling to be condescended to —that the perfectly righteous God of all creation came down among us, calls us out of darkness and into light, and desires us to be sons and daughters is unfathomable love and care. Not sure if that’s even the context of this passage but it struck me in my heart that we receive such love poured out on us by a God that is so much greater than we can imagine
